are those responsible for the translation of prescriptions, advising clients on the most suitable forms of lenses and assisting with the choice of frames. All clients receive personal attention to help them choose the right style of frame for their type of lens - and their desired image!
JOHN EXLEY, FBDO - commenced his career in optics in 1965 at the Huddersfield branch of a major national chain of opticians. He studied at Bradford college from where he qualified. Later, in 1972 he moved to Skipton to join Ken Brook's independent practice. |

KALI TAYLOR, FBDO
Kali, Johns' eldest daughter joined the company in 1999, qualifying as FBDO (Federation of British Dispensing Opticians) in December 2003 after 3 years of studying. Away from work Kali is a keen triathlete and drawing from her personal experience has become the in house expert on sports specs. She can offer advice on which appliances & tints will help you get the most from your favourite sporting pastime. |

CECELIA LAWSON
Receptionist
Cecelia is the newest member of the Practice, having joined as Receptionist in March 2005. Cecelia brings many years of Administrative experience to the post, and enjoys the people contact that the 'front of house' working position offers. Away from work, she spends much of her free time on the quiet pursuits of oil painting, Pilates and countryside walking. |

MIKE LEAVER, BSc, FC Optom
Mike originally qualified as a dispensing optician and then went on to study optometry. He graduated from Bradford University and achieved his degree in optometry in 1976. |

KATHRYN DAVIS, MSc Optom
Kathryn qualified as an optometrist in 1987 after studying at Aston University. In 1998 she chose to further her education and, in doing so, gained her MSc diploma in 2001. Her chosen modules, studied at Bradford University were ocular therapeutics, ocular pathology, and low vision with ageing. |
